That glove flip was pretty sweet.

Don't forget about his shot off the wall too. If he were a normal sized ballplayer, that one would have been on Waveland.

What I liked best about Mikey being in the game was after DLee's HR. Both TheRiot and Mikey were on base. DLee blasted it. When ran the bases and got to home, TheRiot and Mikey were there to greet him and give him some high-ish fives. DLee looked like a giant next to those two little guys. It was pretty funny.

Jumbo, you failed to mention another big-inning ty...

Jumbo, you failed to mention another big-inning type glove-save...that of lil Mikey's. With the bases juiced and no out's, Jeff "I look like a girl" Keppinger hit a hard grounder that looked destined for center field. Lil' Mikey, using all of his length, dove for the ball, snagged it, glove-flipped it to The Riot, who had to concentrate on keeping his foot on the sack to get the out. A run scored, but it would've been two and the hit parade could've continued. Best play I've seen by the Cubs defensively all year.

And yes, Huckleberry Pie looked god-awful. I can't tell if he's stubborn or the coaches are in his ear too much, but something isn't working. Part of me thinks that he is too stubborn to listen to what the coaches are saying (like, cut down your long-ass swing with two strikes) but a part of me also thinks that he made it this far and all of the sudden the staff wants to change his approach, which is a long adjustment period. Last night, he just looked uncomfortable.
