Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder - "All The Way" Cubs Song

At the request of Ernie Banks, Eddie Vedder of Pearl recorded a Cubs song of his own "All the Way". The song was recorded live at teh Auditorium Theatre in Chicago this past August. And on the Pearl Jam website it reads:

"At the request of Ernie Banks, Eddie threw together a song for the Cubs ("All the Way"). He got a pretty good live version of it at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago this August. It's now being played on Chicago radio and at the Bleacher Bars around Wrigleyville. We have decided to make the song available for download - you can get it here in the next few days. There's a chance we'll also make available some hard copy CDs and we're looking into souvenir 45 singles, as well. Check back here for the latest."

Zambrano 1.2 innings pitched 8 runs given up? Maybe he's hurt again, oh wait maybe his clubhouse isn't nice enough. maybe now Cub fans will stop bl*wing him and realize he's not going to take them all the way.

Who ever said Zambrano is the one guy that's going to take the Cubs "all the way"? There's plenty of guys in the pitching staff and plenty in the regular lineup that will all combine, as a team, to carry the Cubs. Why shouldn't Z's no hitter be celebrated simply for what it is? And why does a single start determine his worth? If you want to play that game-just take his stats from his last start. He went 9 IP that time-bigger sample size even. Gotta bring more than this bub.

On my original reason for this comment-this Eddie Vedder song is awesome. Nice work Art.
