The Big Z's MRI revealed some tendonitis in his shoulder, specifically his rotator cuff. He received a shot of anti-inflammatory and expects to start throwing again over the weekend, with a targeted return of next week during the Cards series. Sean Marshall will remain in the rotation in Z's stead. You have to wonder if this has been a progressively worsening issue throughout the season, or at least since May, when these rumors came out. Would certainly explain his bad month of August.
